Callistaproduct Abhors A Vacuum

No new Callista news! Nope, none at all. No new wire photos, no new "lesbian shockers", nothing.

That didn't stop Amy Gardner at the Washington Post, however, from producing a wonderfully unnecessary story about our favorite Moon Vixen to fill today's gap in Callistaproduct. It turns out that Callista is ever-so-timidly stepping into the spotlight, but mainly is quiet and not very interesting. So there! Now you know! We just keep learning new and surprising things about Callista, every day.

This concludes today's utterly pointless Callista Roundup!

UPDATE!! It turns out there is a fab new Callistapic today after all, and it's a doozy (and you can click to worship it supersized!):

Callista Gingrich, wife of Republican presidential candidate, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich meets with Republican supporters at a Smashburger restaurant, Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, in San Diego. (AP Photo/Gregory Bull)

BEST CALLISTA HAIRDO PIC EVER!!!

UPDATE AGAIN! As if to demonstrate that no news is good news, Politico hops onto the Callista non-news bandwagon with a NEW non-news story about how Callista is ever-so-timidly stepping into the spotlight, but mainly is quiet and not very interesting. The more you know!

Wow, that is an amazing photo, and clearly of a woman who styles her own hair in the morning. Um-hm.

She has a very thick neck. Is that what she's trying to make us forget?

Lisa Marie attacks mars. From the past...or the future?!

The spell is broken for me. In the much larger picture, hairs are clearly out of place, notably near the pointy end of the swoop.

I can't tell if her cheeks are ridiculously too much rouge or sun damage.

I imagine her putting on her hair like Darth Vader does his helmet when he lowers it onto his head inside his his star destroyer alcove.

Never much mention of her previous career as a Hill committee staffer where she had a considerable amount of power over agency budgets.

Smashburger will never be the same.

She looks like she has some hair extensions on the back of her head to help with the layering.. (why she has this part, and this bump of hair in the back of her head) Any side view of Callista should be outlawed in a Gingrich Presidency, given she looks like a baby vulture with a helmet head.

I am sorry if I am uber harsh with Callista, but she would look so much better if she dress and did her hair as a mid 40s professional, instead of this weird uber bland and trying to make her look like she wants to live in North Dallas.

I still think she looks like an ostrich in a small-town zoo, altough "baby vulture with a helmet head" is a far more literary and suggestive description.

Politico reports her first solo appearance as less than stellar:

Reading from handwritten notes and stumbling at times through her five-minute remarks, she explained that her time on the trail has been met with both criticism and warmth.

“It has been very encouraging to meet so many people who generally believe in the greatness of our country,” she said. “Newt and I are engaged in this race because we believe America is at a crossroads.”

Gingrich then posed for photos in a blue-skirt and gold jewelry as the roughly 25 attendees filed past, even taking a few questions from reporters, chatting first about the burgers.

People who generally believe in the greatness of our country? What, no one specifically believes in the greatness of our country?

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen a perfect, complete profile shot of the hairchetecture. i am in awe.

Here, she reminds me of the character of Dr. Lorna in Sluggy Freelance, a Dr. Laura stand-in (see panel 4 here; although not by the original artist, Pete Abrams, it's quite, er, Callista-esque).
