Quickie: Truth is Out of Style

Well put, Paul Begala:

If John McCain and Sarah Palin were to say the moon was made of green cheese, we can be certain that Barack Obama and Joe Biden would pounce on it, and point out it's actually made of rock. And you just know the headline in the paper the next day would read: "CANDIDATES CLASH ON LUNAR LANDSCAPE."

What is the difference between Cheney and Palin?
Cheney sneered when he lied.
Palin smiles.

Charlie, ya know that truth is not something that grows on trees up here in Alaska. Ya know that we can see Russia from Alaska, so we know about lies.

And that is what the liberal leftists will have you believe Charlie.

Now about that Bush doctrine, it is where he goes when he needs medical care, ya know Charlie.

Talk about the Condibot, was that some early prototype of the Palinbot???

The eyes so steely and blinky in a weird robotic kind of way, the way the legs were crossed and did she ever mover her head when she spoke to Charlie? Maybe they have yet to prefect the animatronics of neck movements.

Who knows?

franiam: the weird church cult she belongs to, of speaking in tongues and casting out devils, provides this type of public speaking training.

The master is Kim Jong Il of North Korea. All cult members have the same tells.

Truth has been out of style for the last 8 years.
Thank you Karl Rove.

Question: Has there ever been a US President who was the third banana in his own administration?
1) Cheney
2) Rove
3) G.W. Bush

Truth? Whose truth? Aren't there many
"truths", one for each of us? Don't
tell me there's some absolute
TRUTH now. Because if there is then
that opens up the door for, gasp,
judgement. And we can't have that!

Consider the source, ex-Enron adviser
Paul Begala....

What I want to know is, after the
faux outrage of lipstick on pigs
what's gonna happen when someone on
the McCain campaign says, "that's
like the pot calling the kettle
black."? Woo-hoo! Now _that_ would
be faux outrage. I can't wait!

Pot! Kettle!

I believe that it is now supposed to be known as "a utensil of color."

When it first seemed obvious that Obama and McCain would be their parties' candidates, I remarked to a friend that it would be the cleanest campaign in years, "Since these are two fairly decent men." Well, I was half-right . . . and completely, shamefully naive.

Did you guys know McCain used to be a POW?
You did?
Okay, never mind.

POW? So what! He can't use a computer! Let's focus on what's really important.

He can't tie his shoes or comb his hair either!
