Schoolgirl Unimpressed With Condispirational Visit

(Image via the Marlborough School)

A Pony Pal who wishes to remain anonymous reports that Condi visited her daughter's fancy school yesterday and... well, didn't make much of an impression:

My daughter’s report to me, accompanied by eye roll, was that “she told us to follow our passion, Mom. Like we don’t know that…”

Thrilled at the prospect of vicariously experiencing a teenager's boredom, I pressed for more details:

I wish I had something more relevant than 13-year-old sighing to report, but I'm afraid that my offspring's monosyllabic responses to my interrogation were underwhelming. Mostly that Condi told them to push themselves academically (which is rich, since Marlborough is arguably the most competitive girls' school west of the Mississippi) and that she abandoned her dream of being a concert pianist once she entered a political history class at UD. (Yeah, and she heard angels playing their harps, too, I'm guessing.) Nothing about her husband, W, nothing specific about her time at the State Department. In short, according to my daughter, nothing about what the girls were actually interested in hearing. Except the part where she said she doesn't like being referred to as black, or a woman, since that just divides people. That also got an eye roll from my daughter.

This, of course, is Condi's rote stand-up act, which never changes, and for which she was probably paid five figures. And it probably wasn't even the real Condi; I'm sure it was the labor-saving, Disneytronic Condibot, because if that thing isn't wound up now and again, it gets rusty and develops flat spots on its tape rollers.

I must say, however, that the "being referred to as black or female just divides people" part is an interesting philosophy.

Those school girls got off easy, though. It could have been a lot worse.

Looks to me like Condi's ass has gotten a lot more bootylicious without access to the Whitehouse gym.
When I spotted it, my mind started playing, "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-a-lot.
I sort of like it. Makes her look more...more something, I can't decide.

Too much Beans and Rice or tragic muscle development from wearing high heels?

Good to see the Condibot again! I was wondering where she got to.

It's obviously languishing at it's final version. I suppose they're so busy these days retooling and upgrading the Mittbot. One of the newer, Dollhouse-inspired features is the ability to completely flash the hard drive and overlay it with totally new perspectives, positions, and points of view. And then FLASH! ready for the next crowd.

The "Etch-a-Sketch" thing was just a friendly shout-out to previous technology that inspired it.

Having attended this assembly last year I can tell you that disappointing doesn't even begin to describe what a train wreck it was. However, I later found out after talking to an EXTREMELY reliable source that Condi's rather lackluster performance was due to the administration's request. After it was announced that she would be lecturing during an all school meeting, calls came flooding in from enraged parents. Apparently, many parents were incredibly upset by the idea of a republican speaking to their daughters in the event that their minds would be polluted by a conservative perspective. I mean god forbid the most well-educated and intelligent women in Los Angeles be exposed to another point of view! Anyways, as a result of these furious parents (who threatened to quit donating and/or leave the school) Condi was given extremely strict orders to avoid mentioning any and all things that could possibly be conceived as political. I considered that asm to be one of the most tragic events in the history of the school. To think that the entire mustang community was deprived of a once in a lifetime opportunity due to such ignorance and narrow-mindedness makes me absolutely sick.
