International Business Times Offers Ode To Callista's Hairdo

The popularity of Callista Gingrich's hairdo continues unabated. The International Business Times, which is exactly what it sounds like, published a great love letter to the remarkable coiffure today for some reason. Why is a business newspaper publishing a rumination on the "mystery" of the platinum orb? I'm baffled, but it's filled with gigantic pictures, so I love it!

"very stiff platinum blonde "with one remarkable lock styled into an immobile, upward swoosh"

Sheer poetry. Just like the 'do.

"Whenever she appears in public accompanying her husband"? When does she appear in public without him? We former prez campaigners have never understood why Republican wives aren't more often deployed on their own. You can do twice as many events and reach twice as many people! Wait, we're talking about Callista here... never mind.

Given Newt's history, I'm not surprised that she doesn't let him out of her sight for a moment. Leave him alone to go off and do separate public appearances or get some chemotherapy or something like that and there's no telling what kind of mischief he might get into.

The picture of Newt at the lemonade stand is definitely not one of his best.

Great large pics from the Times. Almost too large.

I feel like the hairdo is finally achieving its proper place in political discourse.

It's about time that tireless pioneers in the field of political hairdo coverage, like Peteykins, get to see their long, dogged efforts at proper hairdo recognition bear fruit.

I'll admit this, too, for free: Callista deserves to go down in coiffure history as the owner of The 'Do That Demands You Notice It.

The article seriously lowballs the cost at three grand a year.
