I think they're trying to scare us by implying that the new healthcare overhaul would be like president Obama giving you a rectal exam. This tactic though could backfire: that idea turns me on. A lot.
These anti-Obama people have a real "thing" about anuses. One of their favorite lines is something silly about bending over and grabbing their ankles. Now this. I wish I were going to a psychiatrists' convention tomorrow so I could ask the attendees there what it all means.
I have that issue of Spy in front of me now! The "Advice for the Lovelorn" column by Camile Pagilia is pretty good.
I can only hope NR continues to do the Spy cover reprise. I'm thinking maybe the February 1993 cover with Hillary in an S&M get-up complete with whip saying, "What Hillary Problem?" or maybe October 1995 cover with Hillary on the White House lawn in a black dress that the wind blows up to reveal.... tighty-whiteys with a significant buldge! The headline: "Hillary's Big Secret".
Oh, I miss that magazine. But then we do have NR to take it's place, right :-)

I'd at least try it...
Great catch.

1.) Obama looks like he was drawn by Don Martin.
a.)Dr. Barack Fonebone seems to have Spock ears, for some reason...
Yes, they're really very anal, aren't they?
I liked Spy. It taught me the word "preternaturally." But I always had an itchy feeling about its politics -- pretty anal, actually.
That National Review--so clever and original.
It taught me the word "preternaturally."
Also: nubbin.
Spy brought us "thick fingered vulgarian". They have my eternal thanks.
