You've Got to be Kidding

First of all, let's consider that unnecessary comma in the simple declarative statement. OK? Done.

But really... how serious can the creator of that sign be? What criteria are they using for selecting a choice for president? What on earth does Hillary Clinton have in common with McCain and Palin that would make the switch so easy, so emphatic? It's tempting to say skin color, but oh no, it just couldn't be that. If it were that, there would be, oh, loads of evidence of rampant racism surrounding this campaign. So obviously it isn't that. Totally, definitely it must be something else.

Ugh.

There have been two bloggers that I knew that both imploded as they were true (ahem) PUMA's.

Once Hillary was out their hatred for Obama quickly floated to the surface. It was ugly.

Frankly, it all appears to be about some combination of bitterness, race and poor punctuation.

$150,000 for clothes for Sarah? Cindy wants to know where's the other half of the outfit.

Yeah, I know those same two bitches who'd rather drink hemlock or vote for Palin than get over it that Hillary lost.
In fact, I know for a fact that one of them uses commas incorrectly.
Besides, who has signs like that made up by a pro?
Are we supposed to think it was hand-lettered?
I wish I could read behind Palin's head, I bet it says, "Unconvincing Plants for McCain*Palin."

I heard that the McCain campaign makes all of the signs and distributes them to attendees of the rally. People are not allowed to bring in their own signs.

Is that Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild on lower-right thumbin' up Palin?

J. Matt, by this point I'm thinking that's an urban myth. I'm sure they let many signs in. However, I have noticed suspicious similarities in cities which are pretty far apart. I haven't, however, seen the same signs pop up hundreds of miles apart.

The PUMA strategy of McGeezer/Sister Glossolalia in '08, Hillary in '12 is doomed to failure as McGeezer will croak, Palin would take over and she'd launch the nukes so that we could have Armageddon, thus allowing her to see Jesus and avoiding a pesky 2012 election.

If you flip the sign over it says, "Even though Obama's policies are virtually indistinguishable from Hillary's!"

The holy grail of signed Palin items will be her own autograph on the porno film dvd.

Get to work, people.

It's soooo totally definitely not about race, Princess! I'm guessing it might be about rock-facking stupidity, though.

She would have loved to have explained that she was a Bush-supporter who voted for Hillary because Hillary would be easier for McCain to beat, but she simply ran out of room on her sign.

Honestly...voting a ticket cause there is a vajayjay on it, does NOT make you an educated voter.

I'll level with you: these people heard good things about Britain's labor government and totally misinterpreted what that meant.
