Gahhhh! So, yeah, the dull-witted hockey mom will be on SNL tonight. Whatever. In what way does the McCain campaign think that this is good for them, that their veep nominee is, basically, a walking sight-gag? Alex Pareene at Gawker referred to her as "America's saddest joke," and I couldn't possibly come up with a better description.

And is it just me, or is the caption writer being just a tad ridiculous when he/she describes someone who's having an elastic band stretched around the back of the head with the phrase "is fitted with"?
