Boo!

In this photo released by the Florida Keys News Bureau, Ellen Caron, left, is fitted with a Sarah Palin mask by Patty Sickel, right, a salesperson at the Fast Buck Freddie's boutique Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, in Key West, Fla. Key West's annual 10-day Fantasy Fest masking and costuming began Friday evening. This year's theme is 'Pirates, Pundits and Political Party Animals,' ascribing to the upcoming presidential election. The Palin mask has been the most popular purchase at the boutique. (AP Photo/Florida Keys News Bureau, Rob O'Neal)

Gahhhh! So, yeah, the dull-witted hockey mom will be on SNL tonight. Whatever. In what way does the McCain campaign think that this is good for them, that their veep nominee is, basically, a walking sight-gag? Alex Pareene at Gawker referred to her as "America's saddest joke," and I couldn't possibly come up with a better description.

She has provided the funniest comedy moments I've witnessed for a long time - she must be Obama's best asset.

God she was freakin' lame on SNL.

Agreed. Like I said, her only value at this point is as a walking sight gag.

And is it just me, or is the caption writer being just a tad ridiculous when he/she describes someone who's having an elastic band stretched around the back of the head with the phrase "is fitted with"?
