Quickie: Fantasy Question for Gwen Ifill to Ask Sarah Palin on Thursday

Seeing as how the Palin family isn't above using their underage preggers daughter for political gain, cynically parading her baby bump on stage at the GOP convention for the world to see, here's what I'd love Gwen to ask her:

Governor Palin, you claimed that your daughter "chose" to keep her baby. Would you have allowed her to choose not to?

Can you please get Gwen on the phone and implore her to ask that?

However, I am afraid that the answer will become a babble of "The people I talk to are sick over it, but the bailout will get people insurance coverage, because job creation is the thing, but baby creation matters too!"

Sweet.
However, I think Ifill will have some great questions for Palin that will singe her eyebrows.
Ifill intimidates me and I'm not even a politician.

Sadly I predict she would sidestep the answer with a non-answer such as, "Our daughter was raised in a Culture of Life and therefore would have never even considered an abortion because life is a gift from God..." (blah blah blah, no mention of the Culture of Doing the Wild Thing that her daughter apparently was *also* raised in!!)

How about this question:

Gov. Palin, given that Pastor Murthee drove the influences of witchcraft from you, could you please discuss the role that witchcraft plays in current day America?

terry -- That's a question I'd love to see asked. "Now, Gwen, I believe that the witchcraft is like a reflection of how our society is today. On the one hand you have the Iraq and such as, and on the other hand you have the Constitution and the working people. I believe that witchcraft is like the Iraq and also the do nothinng congress of which we have heard so much about lately."

"Well, when our next president, John McCain, asked me to be his VP I said to him;'Senator, although I know it's strictly taboo, when you arouse the need in me, my heart says YES indeed in me, proceed to what you're leading me to.'"

Thank you! To be serious for a moment, I have to day that "to celebrate the decision" is a misnomer, because if you are pro-life, there are no decisions. It's a given. So, nothing to celebrate.

Surely, surely, someone can find Gwen Ifill's email. Yes? No? Don't call me Shirley?
