Seriously, so cute! I think Mr. Kufuor is easily the most adorable thing to ever enter the White House. If only her husband had 1/8 of her kickiness. The outfit looks like it was designed by Matisse. Two sparkley hooves way, way up!
And, um, since I've been so horrible and sexist lately, the less said about Crazy Eyes' dress, the better.

Two topics about the folks from OUR country.
1. George's right foot. Does he have a trick knee or is he resisting the urge to pee real bad?
2. Laura or waxwork? She looks frozen in that position, even more so than the honor guard behind them.
Miz Bush looks like a weird occasional chair, tightly upholstered and stuffed with horse hair...
OMG! A state dinner, for once? Are you sure they didn't set out the TV trays again?
At first I thought Pickles was wearing a hoop skirt, but now I'm thinking that she spilled something on her pants and wrapped the shower curtain around her waist - with the hooks and liner still on it. Are there any Nina Garcia/Michael Kors types that can explain that to me?
Gee, a satiny shirtwaist dress in a color not found in nature, an unflattering drop waist sash and all that billowing skirt. She looks huge, dowdy and hideous.
Good!

Princess, dearest, I think you mixed up your pronouns...Agreed though, she's kicky. And fabulous. Laura? Um...let's focus on Mrs. Kufor's bag, shall we? So adorable!
Pickles looks like she wrapped herself in the shower curtain.
Matty's right--WTF is up with Chimpy's foot/leg?
What's with the shirtwaist?? Why in the sateen?? Laura's done that sort of thing before, and not a soul has set her straight.
Sounds pretty lonely to me.
Um, is Laura losing her skirt? That loose band mid-hip makes me think it wasn't zipped all the way up. Tres awkward at a diplomatic function.
But I guess she at least has good posture there?
The only thing I need to know is whether Mme. Kufour is in fact carrying a kente-cloth purse-muff - it looks quite plausibly as if she may be be, as her left hand appears to be inside said accessory.
I lived in Ghana, and she would be considered a fine figure of a woman in Accra, although perhaps a tad slight. The biggest compliment you can give there is "why, yes - that dress does make you look fat!"
They are very sensible people, the Ghanaians.
The pattern of the dress is gorgeous. Matisse indeed. Pickles, on the other hand, manages to be all shiny and totally dowdy at the same time.
Just remember: It's not how the dress makes you look, it's how it makes you *feel*. Yep. I'll take Kifuor's dress, thank you very much. Poor Laura's looks like a Bridesmaid Dress GONE BAD. It is in complete control of it's Wearer.
