OMG, a new movie called Manson Girls! That title is so totally cute! I've long lamented that the Manson Family hasn't gotten the musical comedy treatment*, but maybe this'll be it! Yay! Please hire John Waters to direct.
*The wonderfully bad TV remake of Helter Skelter came close: in one probably wisely deleted scene included as a bonus on the DVD, Susan Atkins breaks into torrid go-go dancing when she's booked into the women's prison. Hott!

Well Squeaky made it into Assassins, that's gotta count for something.
My grandmother used to take the bus from Redondo Beach to downtown L.A. to camp out with the other thrill-seekers trying to get into the public section of the courthouse for the Manson trial. I wonder if she ever bumped into John Waters, who was doing much the same thing.
In truth, what I really want to see/make is a musical mish-mash of the Manson Family mixed in with the SLA Family, in their Southern California sojourn before they got blown up real good by the LAPD, time/space continuum be damned.
What's really weird is how Manson keeps appearing unbidden by the media lately, as if Osama bin Laden had stopped being a credible bogeyman so they went back to Old Reliable Charlie. And the Lohan/Manson E! Online! Photoshop may be the most bizarre manifestation of this new psy-ops campaign so far. Great catch.
With Elijah Wood as Manson and Christopher Walken as Bugliosi?
OMG, Elijah Wood as Manson. You are a genius!
who would play squaky fromme?
If it were fifteen years ago, the only possible Squeaky would have been Sissy Spacek. Today, I'm thinking maybe it's a crossover opportunity for Avril Lavigne...
With Paris Hilton as the Ghost of Sharon Tate.
I think Johnny Depp would be a fun Manson.
Rene Zellweiger as Squeaky Fromme.
Adam Corolla as Bugliosi.
And the Manson girls can be anyone in Hollywood popped for DWI's, then on to rehab.

I keep thinking I shouldn't say anything, it seems unnecessarily mean, but I keep looking at this pic and thinking they look a whole lot like members of the same family. I'm even noticing the mirrored trailing bangs.
Weird.
The picture is very nice and seems like family.I feel i should comment or not on this pic. What's really weird is how Manson keeps appearing unbidden by the media lately, as if Osama bin Laden had stopped being a credible bogeyman so they went back to Old Reliable Charlie.
