Neat! A tad ungrateful, though, because Condi did, after all, recognize Kosovo instantly as a shiny, brand new country (but only after dodging questions about it for years).
Meanwhile, what the heck was Condi wearing this evening when she greeted the President of South Korea? I'm not sure:

At first I was worried because I thought somebody had smeared dung all over a perfectly good satin jacket, but upon closer inspection I was startled to realize that the design was intentional. What'll they think of next?

Egads. I hate to admit it, but that jacket in the bottom photo looks like something from Coldwater Creek, where I used to shop for my pretending-to-be-a-femme careerwear.

That was my exact thought when I saw this photo earlier during the day on Yahoo! Maybe, it her choosing that outfit has something to do with the made-up name (like Condi's real made-up Italian African-American ethnic name) that the South Koreans gave Condi during her visit.
In Korean culture, the tortoise is a symbol of good luck and protection from evil. Condi's tortoiseshell jacket might well be a reference to this.
is Condi sporting a matching DUng purse?
There appears to be a little bit of confusion up the way, there... Kosovar Serbs want to stay part of Serbia. It's the Albanian majority that wants to secede.
Just sayin'.
