Condi's Pointless London Incursion

US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice (L) attends a news conference with Britain's Foreign Secretary David Miliband in Lancaster House, central London February 6, 2008. The United States and Britain, the foreign countries with the most troops in Afghanistan, called on reluctant NATO allies on Wednesday to share the burden of combat against hardline Taliban guerrillas. Condi's trip to London today, even by Condistandards, was completely unnecessary. She went there to talk about Afghanistan. Um, OK. Whatever! And how are things going there, according to the glamorous Princess Diplomat? Bumpy. Anything more specific? No, not really. C'mon, this is Dr. Ferragamo we're talking about.

Also, PLUCK IT OUT, CONDI, PLUCK IT OUT:

And I have to apologize that I've totally neglected the Condoleezza Hairdo Alert System™ lately, leaving it stuck inaccurately at "elevated," but it turns out that's OK, because there's some kind of malfunction going on here:

And finally, remember when Condi got all miffed recently when our UN ambassador made the mistake of being in the same room as an Iranian without Bush's permission? Well! Today Reuters reported (EDIT: whoops, here's the link) that she chastised him... personally! Mildly, but still! Did she wear the boots? Oh, if only we could all be so lucky.

I think David Miliband is dishy. Do you think your highness could swish your tail his way more often?

Never before has one person's carbon footprint been so large in service of nothing. Good job, Condi!

Milibrand is the only British Foreign Secretary in history who looks as if he were still going through puberty.

I was gonna email you Princess, but I couldn't find your email address. Anyway, have you heard about Condi and Tzipi havimg ,er, a 'love affair'? Read it here: http://www.presstv.com/detail.aspx?id=34323§ionid=351020202

I'm sure it's complete bullsh*t but it amazes how Iranian press came up with this.

tikky, I'd LOVE to see that story, but the link you posted doesn't work. My email address, by the way, is in the right-hand column.

PSP, do you think Condi is visiting all these nations just to add to her thimble collection?
I can't imagine any other reason for all her traveling.

I'm on the fence about the rt. hon. David Miliband (born 15 July 1965, a Cancer). A Google images search shows him very variable in appearance. Methinks he's in need of a proper image consultant.

He photographs best from medium distance. Too close, and you can see his skin needs some work; blemishes aren't his problem, but some exfoliating might be required. He's been photographed in spectacles, though not frequently, and while nerd-chic has some appeal, I'm not sure he's pulling it off well, although I think his face is more flattered by nearly invisible frames and small lenses.

However, put him in a tux, and you can see the appeal. Mreow!

Also, for some reason, he met with Angelina Jolie. And here's David 'n' Condi in a gurning contest at Camp David.
