Picture of the Day

U.S. first lady, Laura Bush, centre, poses before the Pink Majlis conversations with Emarati breast cancer survivors at the Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi, UAE, Monday, Oct. 22, 2007. Laura Bush arrived in this oil-rich Persian Gulf nation Sunday to begin a four-day trip around the Middle East to raise breast cancer awareness. OMG! With Laura and Condi and Karen Hughes, it's like we have three secretaries of state for the price of one! And they are all chicks!

Is this the latest sequel in the Charlie's Angels franchise? We could call it Charlie's Angels: Out With a Bang.

Wow, the one on the right is totally HOT! The one on the left is okay too, but I don't like her revealing her eyes. I like at least something left to the imagination.
At least Crazy Eyes had the decency to cross her legs *and* hold her hands over her lady box, but that plunging neckline is totally whorish.

Right! She is totally dressed like a prostitute.

Also, yes, she seems to be doing Karen Hughes' job for her. What does Karen do with all her time? I mean, besides getting real paid.

That's Condi and K Hughes with Laura the Burma -- they wanted to travel with her incognito so as not to confuse the public about who's now in charge of US foreign policy.

Oh I lived in that gluf state but you know what i never wore that black covering (hijab)

also laura should not wear white

its what the men wear

I don't so much mind Crazy's Eye's relatively tasteful neutrals (although to be fair, that outfit probably was white before it spent sixteen hours in a garment bag in the overhead rack of the Smoking Brutally Enforced section of Air Force 2 or whatever luckless craft ferried the party Gulf-ward) - no, it's not the color, it's the tendency (one I've noted before) for our Leading Ladies to think that, when spending time with Traditionally Dressed Opposite Numbers, the thing to do is dress in a mildly ethnic way that leaves one with the impression that they found their outfits on waitresses in some theme restaurant in suburban Terre Haute.

As for the pink-piped abaya-and-shayla (what one actually calls the all-enveloping Gulfie overclothes) - now that is totally rocking. By Gulf standards, at least.

At first glance, I thought (hoped) she was being held hostage by the Gulf version of the KKK. Shit.

Thanks, Sparkle Pony! It's the perfect way to start a new week!

What no black gloves!!! Have they no shame?

That is just one of the strangest pictures I have seen in many years.

And we know there's been some strangeness here.

I have to agree about the lack of proper hand coverings. Just the sight of those nude hands made my mind jump to sexual images.
I'm sure if an Arab male spied those hands, he'd go insane with lust thinking of hand jobs.

Ms. A, that's why I didn't feel a need to write about it. I was simply at a loss for words.

After going to all that effort to make the lustful men forget that they have sinful boobs, just to stick a pink ribbon on top of the whole mess and remind them all over again... it's diabolical! They'll be stoned for sure.

However the pink background, no matter how strange, is doubtless in honor of Princess SP ...

for the one of the left...

a little Billy Idol never hurt
(i hear he is a hot commodity on the Middle East music underground market)

I'm all out of hope
One more bad dream could bring a fall
When I'm far from home
Don't call me on the phone
To tell me you're alone
It's easy to deceive
It's easy to tease
But hard to get release

Les yeux sans visage, eyes without a face
Les yeux sans visage, eyes without a face
Les yeux sans visage, eyes without a face
Got no human grace your eyes without a face.

Leave it to D-cap to quote Billy fecking Idol.

Pardon me while I go touch myself, then start a jihad while viewing those oh-so-arousing hands.

The one on the right may appear modest at first, but she has the sheer peek-a-boo abaya thing going on. Is that leopard print I detect on her knees?

Oh, and where pray tell is the ubiquitous box of middle-east kleenex?

L. Burma's get-up looks strangely Ukrainian -- check out "Taras Bulba" with Tony Curtis.

The one on the left looks totally scared of Crazy Eyes.

And she has reason to be.

Heyyy I believe that vixen on the right does have on a leopard print catsuit under her tarp!
Meowwww.

You just know those ladies are wearing couture under their blankets and are totally embarrassed by what their new friend, Crazy Eyes, is wearing.

I wish someone would throw a curtain over crazy eyes...
