LOL! Condi, who practically booted Rummy out the door with her own Ferragamos, was put in the unenviable position of having to defend him this morning. What a funny way to start the week!
Oh, and Condi's somewhere today. Pakistan? Lebanon? Palestiniastan? Somewhere like that. She was just in Russia, and her trip was so boring and such a failure that I barely paid attention.
Maybe Ursula Plassnik with get up to something this week? Please?

Now that you mention it, did Rummy and Condi used to get in a lot of two person photo-ops like Condi and the the new Tiny Secretary do? I really don't recall them.
There are two ways to interpret this, I suppose.
It could be she's being nice to the new guy, taking him under her wing and showing him the ropes.
Or the other way is that Condi has a freshman bee-otch and his giving him what for, as upperclassmen have since time immemorial.
Did you hear about her refusal to ice skate (despite having been a teen ice queen) in Russia because she didn't want to do it in front of reporters? God, what I wouldn't give to see her try to skate but fall to the ice and break something! Then she could have a Ferragamo cast or something.
I think Condi and Rummy just didn't get along since he's an crotchety old prick. The tiny but perfectly formed Gates, on the other hand, seems less of a bigoted asshole.
Bush said he was tired of taking a lot of lip off Rummy, but did they have to remove them as a final insult?
Who needs Ursula when you have Condaloopie boldly proposing the creation of a Palestinian state. Whooa! Pretty radical!

Condi is squeezing Rummy's aged thing (or so his face suggests) under the table -- well, at least it's not in an airport bathroom stall.
