April's Fools

A Lebanese activist, burns posters OF U.S President George W. Bush and Secretary of States Condoleezza Rice during a demonstration against the alleged abuse of prisoners at Iraq's Abu Ghraib jail, in Beirut, Lebanon on Sunday, April 1, 2007. The activists belong to The Lebanese Youth Campaign Against U.S. Guardianship which rejects alleged U.S. intervention in Lebanese and Arab political affairs and are campaigning against Lebanon becoming another Iraq. This photo could also be called "Lighter Fluid Dos and Don'ts". The nice sinusoidal spread of lighter fluid on Bush's blown-up puss should give a fire of maximum effect, while his face will still be visible for perhaps a minute. On the other hand, don't step in the little fires around the larger effigy, and the firestarter stick should be lit only at the far end.

Also, I'm going to try my hand at this daily blogging stuff over at Lotsa 'Splainin' 2 Do. I don't expect I'm going to be as good at it as Our Princess is, but in the true Punk spirit of DIY, I thought I should try some solo snarkiness instead of being a career back-up snarker.

Note to those of you who enjoy my back-up snark (both of you): I will continue to comment on the lovely pictures presented to us by PSP, most especially my continued declaration for my unrequited love for a certain European foreign minister whom I don't really have to name, do I? It's so pathetically obvious.
