It's Matching Armchairs Day at the State Department... Again

Does this mean that Bulgaria is with us? Oh, please let them be with us! Because without Bulgaria, surely we are lost.

And Condi's lovely in lavender today! I'm glad she's over that Christmassy horseshit.

Gee, I wish I could get paid to travel the world faking a smile while shaking hands with people I have no respect for.

Not that I would presume to tell a glittering Princess how to run one of the best sites on the Web, but since Condi's hairdo alert system is stuck on GUARDED for, well, forever, maybe we could have a Condi Leg Cross Level Alert?

When in an armchair, Condi always crosses her legs; after all, she's not some crazy, murderous Sharon Stone-style lesbian whose mama never taught her better.

But sometimes it's a demure ankle cross. Sometimes it's left over right and sometimes right over left. Sometimes her heel is firmly on the ground and sometimes, like in this snap, she's on a "boy, I've been doing my pilates regularly and it feels great!" kick.

Just like the smiles and frowns, Condi's leg position obviously mean something, and it's our duty as PonyPals to figure out what that something is.

I think all of Condi's leg positions mean the same thing: I am an awkward human being who is uncomfortable in her own skin.

Also, I mean to lower the Hairdo Alert to "low", but then Condi had an updo day, so I had to wait a couple of weeks. That's just the way the CHAS works! It's bound to sink soon, though, maybe even today!

Uncomfortable in her own skin, yes, but definitely flexible, too - she's about the only gal I know who can have her legs crossed and akimbo at the stame time...

The drawback of the lavender jacket is that, at least in this photo, it renders it impossible to take a neckwear reading: is it the pearls or the dreaded goldtone torque?
