Good ol' Agape Press, the gift that keeps on giving. They're reporting on the continuing convolutions of one of those stupid "Ten Commandments in the Courthouse" cases, and, of course, where those flare up, Liberty Council's Mat (sic) Staver is sure to follow. And, yes, he offers the typical plea:
But whether [the ACLU] likes it or not, he asserts, "history is crystal clear that each one of the Ten Commandments played an important role in the founding of our system of law and government."Well, um, yeah, except for the Commandments which didn't, like the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th and 10th, and only kinda halvsies on the 9th. See for yourself!

The Shining
Jesus, thank you..I thought I was losing my mind for a sec.
Mat Shaver needs a new butt plug. The old one seems to be shorting out on him. Thus the expression of preternatural intensity without focus. As i recall, that's how Nancy Reagan came by the same "look." That, plus valium.
While we're at it, let's not ask the Native Americans about Commandments 6, 8, or 9. Matter of fact, Mat, you might want to sit this one out.
Look at him...Look at that fixed, dilated stare, that cheesy, vapid grin. This is the look common to cult members and door-to-door salespeople the world over.
It IS Mat, not Matt, see www.LC.org
how old are you all. Is that all you can talk about is this guys picture. the arguemant here is whether of not the ten commandments should be taken out of court rooms. personnally I dont think the commandments should be removed. but for the sake of all the God hating atheists out there we'd best please them. Plus nothing is sacred in America. Like taking the pledge of aliegience out of schools because it has the Lords name in it. Yet again lets drift away from our morals and values.
