No Thanks

Some of you are probably wondering why your glittery public servant isn't making merry about Jim West, the virulently anti-hairdresser Republican Mayor of Spokane, Washington, who was recently outed as... you guessed it... a boy-lover.

Jim West: Not even worth more than 30 seconds in Photoshop.

Ick. I'll pass. Like Jeff Gannon, this is yet another classic example of a self-loathing closet case. Jeffy-lube is loads of fun to attack because of his arrogance and embarassing former "profession", in addition to his general stupidness and laughability.

There's nothing funny about West, though. I'll let other idiots make jokes about it. The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force thinks he deserves "nothing but scorn," but I don't think he even deserves that.

When gays are oppressed, many of them hide in the closet. That closet does really scary things to some people. It's not funny.
