Quickie: Sarah Palin Totally Understands "Trickle Up" Economics

LOL:

SCRANTON, Pa. - Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin said Tuesday that her running mate John McCain's plan to reduce or eliminate taxes and help distressed homeowners with their mortgages will "get this economy moving again."

At a raucous rally in Scranton, Palin said McCain's mortgage proposal is "not a handout, but a hand up" to help financially overwhelmed Americans hang on to their homes.

And by "hang on to their homes," she means, of course, bankers hanging on to their Summer homes.

A hand up where? Am I going to have to point to where on a doll?

Does she really mean bankers hanging on to their Summer homes? Really? Damn, such insight....

Well the Hamptons is hurting so maybe that's not such a bad thing.

But what I want to know is, what is this woman? Is she an idiot
like you've been alluding to, in which case she wouldn't know
"hand up" from "hang up" or is she some evil smart Rove-bot that
presses the hoi polloi's buttons with certain code words?

It can't be both so you gotta choose.

Oh swell. Now she's recycling Bush slogans.

She's such a populist. I really feel like she's reaching her hand down--waaaaaaaaaay down--to me.

Oh, forget that dguz- she's already got her token lesbo pal, and I'm sure they've never so much as shook hands. AIDS, ya know.
