Callista Gingrich, wife of Republican presidential candidate and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, listens to husband speak at a town hall meeting with the state's Asian Republican leaders during the California Republican Party spring convention Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 in Burlingame, Calif. Also: not a good hair day.

So much for my guess of "never a hair out of place EVER!"
Two rational explanations, not mutually exclusive.
1. She's in California, so very far away from the Beauty To Go mobile command center.
2. The numbers say the campaign is in trouble.
Or more accurately, Callista's hair says the campaign is in trouble and the numbers concur.
p.s. On a local note, I guess Feb. 25 is officially spring here in Northern California now. It's been warm and sunny with very little rain all this "fall" and "winter". In honor of the Republican state convention, I'll add that global warming is a hoax!
p.p.s. And kids! Don't go to college!
Root alert!
So... hard... to keep... lip corners... up... *uh*.
This is a shocking photo. It's like seeing your mother drunk.
Those frayed bits mirror her mental state right now. It's never too early for a Martini, honey.
Damn, that skin is so nasty.
She must also be rather stunned that others don't see the sheer brilliance in Newty that she does.
The poor dear. Her hair appears to be wilting at a rate slightly slower than her husband's campaign.
It really does hurt to see it.
Surprised the Gingeys deigned to speak with "Asian Republican leaders," quite frankly.
And kudos to Marcio Jose Sanchez for showing us that Calista's hair is only human after all.
Swell. Now I'm craving a big old mug of frothy root beer.
There, I killed two birds with one stone.
