Please Stand By...

Ohhhh... I'm having woes with my big computer right now, so I'm using my little computer, which isn't as much fun. So probably you should expect light to nonexistent posting for a few days. Sorry about that!

Kernel panic! It sounds like a neat game, but it isn't!

UPDATE – Failed logic board = new computer on order! Tsk.

My guess: it was Kernel Panic, in the Library, with a bowl of poison RAM chips.

At least it's not a "colonel panic".
Disturbed military and computers are a bad combination these days.

Those Macs run like tanks and then one day they get all jacked up. My storage area looks like an old MAC museum. Good luck getting it to run well again.

P.S. I too think Ricky Rebel overwhelmed the system.

That's been my experience too Karen. They run and run and run and then one day, barf, they're done.

Backup early and often to cheap external USB devices, for one day you will fail to boot, and there will be a wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Riiight.
Macs never go kaput gradually. One day is the happy face with flawless, quick performance, and the next day comes the sad, dead face.
And by dead I mean totally irreparable, worthless and unwanted by anyone, anywhere.
Macs are like getting into a bad romance you just can't resist. You love to show them off and play with them, then one day they break your heart.
