This is why the Huffington Thing™ is so weird and puzzling: Donald Sutherland is calling out Max Baucus. It's short; it's not particularly coherent; actually, it kinda doesn't even make any sense. But, hey, it's Donald Sutherland! I loved him in Animal House!

Words strung together in an unusual sequence, with one repeating pattern, "Max Baucus."
Hey it works, so why not?
Not that this excuses the magnificent Donald's heartfelt but silly Huffington Thingie (TM), but I read that his dad had somethin' to do with Canadian healthcare system and was voted Best Canadian Ever for this.
Puts a new spin on the whole "reverse Montana" idea.
Donald, you do a real good job saying things in front of a camera, but please leave the writing to the writers.
He was good in Johnny Got his Gun also.
I saw his post yesterday...tried to read it, but left hurt and confused.
I don't know, maybe I'm a confused person, but I thought Southerland's post, while not eloquent or footnoted, made perfect sense. Max Baucus is killing healthcare reform.
I've got Baucus' office on speed dial and call every day to let him know what a tool he is.
What?
Donald Sutherland's former father in law was North America's first elected socialist premier for Saskatchewan (Tommy Douglas), who in turn was the main proponent for National Healthcare in Canada...
So how come none of these socialist tendencies rubbed off on Kiefer?!?
Sutherland is, and always will be, my favorite pod.
"Arf arf arf... That's my other dog impression."
I've never trusted Donald Sutherland since he bashed in the brains of that little boy in Bertolucci's "1900." In fact, I haven't particularly trusted Bertolucci since that moment either.
