Click either pic for 1200x900 version.

Ugly tour bus season is off to a wonderful start! I could hardly decide which ones to shoot today, the options were so plentiful.

Sometimes I wonder, though, if I really do like photographing these vehicles, because my favorite shots are the ones that coming out looking like neither vehicles or even photographs, like the one above. Mixed messages!

Otherwise, I've taken to searching for the really dirty or damaged designs. Here's a beauty:

Speaking of Sheeler and Wood:

Remix #1

Meh... it's a start... I wanna try and do some more of these.

Marginally better. Follows my ' harvest 4chan and mash' method.

So let's just throw the upper on the lower and see what happens. Woo, color burn is nice. Morton Salt Girl likes to dominate in that situation.

Soft light is really the best though.

Ok I'll stop now.

Morton Salt Girl totally adds a touch of grandeur. Well done!

Thank you, adding that grandeur is what I aim for.
Have you considered making these images into painintgs?

They are paintings! Pixel paintings made of light!

But no, I can't see killing trees and phthalo shrubs just to put these pieces to print. They need to stay electrons, that way everyone can have one.

But now I'm thinking maybe PSP can get a stimulus grant to go around with an oxyacetalyne torch and cut rectangular pieces out of random tour busses and hang them in the NG. Now there's a show.

What's funny is that I have considered making paintings based on these photos, but I keep coming back to it being a pointless activity. Not that I don't indulge in plenty of pointless activities!
