Wearing a traditional Peruvian poncho, President George W. Bush gestures as Japan's Prime Minister Taro Aso stands below before the official group photo of the 16th summit of the Asian Pacific Economic Cooperation, APEC, in Lima, Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008. (AP Photo/Lawrence Jackson)
This stuff is really supreme, classic gross-out material from Bush. Isn't he a stitch? Ha, ha, behold his cloddish form:
Doesn't it feel great to be represented by this... nincompoop? This maladroit fratboy? Ew. But just in case you start feeling sorry for the bumbling, daffy senior-citizen, here's the final shot, the smug no YOU suck recovery shot, and it's totaly where the real horror begins:
But! It's almost over!

Is there anyone in history who's more perfectly demonstrated the Shit-Eating Grin?
In the immortal words of Spicoli, "What a DICK"!
Drunk and stupid is no way to go through an administration. But he did.
He looks more like a petulant 8-year-old stuck in a bad church choir Christmas pageant during the '70s.
@rptrcub: Always a shepherd, never a wine man.
Wise man. I've been drinking.
That look in the top picture is the dumbest he has looked in any picture I have ever seen of him.
Caricatures of him as a monkey are kinder.
Someone on another blog...hello WaterTiger...mentioned that poncho is probably made out of Alpacha wool. Which makes it too nice for the drunkard in chief to wear.
He's the nincompoopiest.
What can I say. He loves Jesus, so I HAD TO vote for him. I can't believe I have to explain this to people
I guess the poncho + tie is authentic Peruvian business attire. Could someone just lose a tie, gain a hat, and maybe carry a basket or something -- anyone? Those ponchos probably look really nice in real life; but you'd never know from the Peru-o-Disney Hall of Leaders(tm) attraction.
Thank you for spreading the tragicomedy of Bush throughout the blogospehere...

Yes, keep spreading the word! The leaders did look goofy in those ponchos.
My photographer and I were covering the APEC in Lima last weekend, and he got some great outtakes from the official photo shoot, which I published on my blog. Feel free to publish them on your site:
