Coasting

Far be it from me to say that the above is a typically vapid photo-op documenting a singularly inane diplomatic non-event, but... oh, wait, that's exactly what I'm saying. Never mind. Even Condi seems a little jaded, openly smirking at the meaningless document she's signing.

Also today, Condi had some press conference about something called U.S. Business Leaders and the U.S.-Palestinian Partnership, and, you know, I really don't understand what they're talking about (see if you can wade through it), but the gist I'm getting is that Bethlehem is ready for Kentucky Fried Chicken or something. Neat!

Bethlehem will have KFC soon? Thank goodness! Now Mary and Joseph will at least be able to get a bucket o'chicken parts on their way to the inn.
