Well, you wouldn't catch Condi dead having civilized discussions with Syria, so thank goodness for our Austrian lovely. It's quite an exotic matching armchairs set-up, indeed! Condi doesn't know what she's missing!
More importantly, though, is what's going on south of the ankles. What, pray tell, are those amazing boots? Oh Ursula, you have so much to teach us! About diplomacy and shoes!

Clearly, Assad is thinking that any country producing such an amazing diplogoddess MUST be worth talking to...
Love, love, LOVE the boots! And did you notice that Ursula's outfit coordinates beautifully withe the decor? No fire-engine red or cringe-worthy plaids here, Pony Pals! Dare one call this, um, diplomatic?
She is as captivating as ever but her pants are rather tight ... esp for a Middle Eastern country ...
As for the shoes, they bring back memories of one-thousand-and-one nights.
Point #1: No Arab Kleenex! Proof positive that the Syrians are barbarians.
Point #2: No burkas for Ursula! Ever! She's wearing a modern pantsuit ensemble just to remind the Syrians that if they don't like it, she might just go for a jog after the meeting.
Think Cloverfield.
Point #3: I wonder if they make those shoes in puny human sizes. I'd wear a pair of those. Years from now, I could see stylish young people wearing a pair of Ursula Plassniks instead of Air Jordans or Chuck Taylors.
I noticed that about the Kleenex, too. My theory is that the low table and the fireplace are simply so fabulous that any object placed on or near them simply bursts into flames.
First of all, as a devoted shoe whore, I am bowing at the splendor of those boots.
And the tight legged pants are sublime. I'd love to see her standing up in that ensemble- bliss!
P.S.
I scoured the Internets and could not find those glorious boots.
That leads me to believe they are older models, which is even more endearing.
Ahh, if only we could have seen Ursula with the lovely Asma instead!
Sweet baby jeebus I love her boots.
Why is it that when Ursula gestures and speaks, she looks intelligent; yet when Dr. (Lame) Shoes gestures and speaks, she looks like a robot with no brain?
Thank you so much for all these Ursula posts lately!
dguzman, to be fair, sometimes it's the Condibot, which is, of course, a robot with no brains.
Yes! Aladdin shoes!
Rub them and your wish is Ursula's command!
Yow!
Wow... those feet are scary. Anyone know what her shoe size is?
Her shoe size is 45. Sometimes 46. I know because i was chambermaid in small hotel she was staying
