Oh, boy, talk about wanting to be a fly on the wall! GQ wanted an interview with Hugo Chavez, so naturally they sent important journalist Naomi Campbell to do the job. All together now: WTF?
Trust the cell-phone-hurling supermodel to get right to the heart of the most important matters:
Cuba's Fidel Castro was the world's most stylish leader, he said ("His uniform is impeccable. His boots are polished. His beard is elegant"), he was aware of the newly-reformed Spice Girls and admired Britain's Prince Charles.
I, for one, was concerned that the adorably fiery wannabe dictator was not up on his girl group reunion news, but thank goodness Naomi was around to clear that up! Furthermore:
He also refused to rule out following Russian President Vladimir Putin's example and posing for topless photographs. "Why not? Touch my muscles," he reportedly told the supermodel.
Oh, behave!

Princess, you really are the only person on the internets with News That You Can Use.
Please tell me this whole story is just some early April Fools' thing, Princess.
Touch my muscle!
Remember when Cheyney kept giving the press crotch shots? I don't know why I suddenly thought of that.
"wannabe dictator"?
He has a better record on democracy than our current administration.
GQ officially jumps the shark. No one really gives a crap about anything anymore.
Hugo Chavez is an ignorant pig who has been systematically ruining what was once a beautiful country for the past 10 years. The streets are knee-deep in garbage, the crime rate is incredible, 95% of murders go un-solved, drugs and corruption are rampant, the money is worthless, and the police and Guardia National regularly shake down the populace for bribes at roadblocks. NOTHING happens without bribery and pay-offs. Chavez's "clinics" are deathtraps manned by incompetents, as are the rest of the government-appointee posts. My wife is Venezuelan, and I have been traveling there for the past 15 years and watched the deterioration first hand. This guy was elected by a combination of vote-rigging and fear (if you vote against him you lose your job). His form of "democracy" is nothing but a sick joke.
You don't believe it? GO THERE.
George W. Bush is an ignorant pig who has been systematically ruining what was once a beautiful country for the past 6 years. The streets are knee-deep in garbage, the crime rate is incredible, 95% of murders go un-solved, drugs and corruption are rampant, the money is worthless, and the police and Secret Service regularly shake down the populace for bribes at roadblocks. NOTHING happens without bribery and pay-offs. Bru$h's "hospitals" are deathtraps manned by incompetents, as are the rest of the government-appointee posts. My wife is American, and I have been living here for the past 15 years and watched the deterioration first hand. This guy was elected by a combination of vote-rigging and fear (if you vote against him you lose your vote). His form of "democracy" is nothing but a sick joke.
You don't believe it? LIVE THERE.
This agrees with what a college classmate of mine, a Venezuelan socialist by her own admission, told me. "Chavez is a lie. The Americans put him in power for their own purposes." I believed her then, and comments such as the above by the person with a Venezuelan wife, substantiates my opinion. We'll see, sometime in the near future, American troops have to go there to secure the humongous oilfields. Sudan is next, maybe even sooner.
Chavez certainly is qualified to be an exorcist. He noted the smell of sulphur at the UN the day after Bush desecrated it with his presence.
