Why Am I Here?

US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice listens, as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, speaks in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, where Rice called for more African countries to send peacekeepers to Somalia, where an Islamic insurgency has killed thousands of civilians this year. Rice was in the Ethiopian capital to meet with African leaders after expressing growing unease about deteriorating security and faltering peace deals in a number of countries on the continent. The United Nations has said Somalia is facing the worst humanitarian crisis in Africa. (AP Photo/Anita Powell)

So this is it! Here's Condi's African photo-op! Wow, her PR team is really slipping. No adorable children, no colorful fabrics, no clever protesters with amusingly mean caricatures. This is all we get so far. *yawn* It's like an empty husk of photo-ops past.

The real question, though: has she solved all of Africa's problems, yet? Clearly, she's thrilled to just be there:

Also, whoah, don't sit too near the scary, snarly lady:

What is going on around her mouth? Badly chapped lips? The smeared blood of her victims?

Condi has requested more space between her chair and others ever since her boss mentioned the virus he caught from Creepy Crowley.

Definitely the bot. Always look for the fisty-ness first! Here her hands are clasped together in a fisty grip, which probably wreaks havoc with the servos. It may take several weeks in the shop to get her back in action.

It can't be the Condibot, all snarly like that. Do you think they added snarly subroutines to the Condibot?
