A new poll shows a link between studying music at an early age and professional success later in life. In fact, some of the great names of our time, Albert Einstein, Condoleezza Rice, and Richard Nixon all have music in their backgrounds.
Gosh, I can't think of any better examples, can you?

I'm throwing away my recorder.
Adolf Hitler was a great music appreciator too.
Didn't Nero fiddle, as Rome burned?
Well my comment about playing the recorder at age 5 is puny compared to the already funny ones here.
1 for 3 ain't good... But y'know, I studied music at a young age, and... ummm...
nevermind.
I used to love to color a lot when I was little, but I had no music lessons or aptitude for music. But I'm a pretty good artist and so was Hitler.
What of it? :P

Nixon at the piano? Always the life of the party, just like they tell you you're going to be if you just won't quit your lessons.
What do probable teenage drinking, adult alcoholism and cocaine use, and a complete lack of marketable skills presage? You got it: the presidency. And I didn't even need to poll anybody.
dguzman, I was going to say "interest in music", but I like your answer better.
