On the left is Princess Sparkle Pony's (platonic) pal Jim. And on the right is... Princess Sparkle Pony! It's from this week's issue of Metro Weekly. Oi!
I'm so confused. I thought the guy with the cell phone who wears the "I Like Meat!" button over at Peteykins.com was the man behind the sparkly curtain.
You got mentioned on Rachel Maddow's radio show last night. About the scoop you had on Larry Craig over at Wonkette. Nice job. Been a fan of this blog for a long time. Funny as hell.
Hey Princess Sparkle Petey! In all the 5+ years that I've "known" you (in an electronic manner), this is I think the first time you've revealed yourself so fully online. Hubba, hubba! Based on your pixelmashing work from a few years ago, I thought you were a Nauga IRL! :-)
DC is a small small town isn't? Either that or the regulars at the Eagle are very well, regular? Sigh. I forgot to go there enough. I had a plan that the Eagle should be like West Coast leather bars where absolutely everyone ends up on Sunday afternoon for the beer bust. Twinks, bears, leather daddies, you name it. DC is so scene segregated. But then my friends/co-conspirators moved away. And I forgot.
You are my new favorite blog. (Thank you Julie Mason for turning me on to you btw.) Now I have to start catching up on all your past posts in case i've missed some sparkly brilliance.

yeah, but you are so not Oi! Nice photo, though.
Oi! Dig the braces. I hope you got some 1460's on yer feet or at least some decent trainers.
Aww, what a cute, slim pony.
Come to Texas- we'll fatten you up with some TexMex, babycakes.
Who knew that Princess Sparkle Pony looked like Patrick Dennis (the "Auntie Mame" author)? Now it all makes sense.
So glittery!
Kick ass!
But, where's the trilby?
I'm not going to wear a trilby indoors! But yes, I was wearing Docs. What can I say?
The Eagle... wait. You're gay?
I just found your site from Wonkette, and I gotta say you're killing me. Great reading so far... Catch you at the Eagle. :)
Gee, I always thought your were a real pony, sparkle ... but still love your great blog.
OMG, it's been three years since I left DC and I still recognize half the crowd at the Parakeet Lounge.

I bet you have a glittery Condi wig just ready for Halloween!
Jim seems so calm in the presence of greatness.
What Matty said!! Well you look sparkly and glittery to me and I am delighted to see the man behind the princess.
Although you will always be the Princess to me.
And the lovely sparkly one is the number one inspiration behind my own feeble blog efforts.
While I may thank you, my reading public, all 7 of them, may feel otherwise!

lulu: the great thing is that hardly any of my real-world friends know I have a blog; most of them don't even know what a blog is.
Also, despite what the conspiracy theorists at "bigheaddc" say, that really, really is me in that picture.
I'm totally crushed out all over again. Oh! Swoon! You are the darlingest!
OMG, you're, like, my biggest blogcrush EVER! Don't do that to me!
You're just too cute and you have to come to dinner on November 11 or else.

Hrumph.
Always good to see you looking well and cOi as ever:)
Um...I like your writing better than your photo.
