Photoblogging: DC Can be Scary

Click for bigger, unnervinger!

The scene: 10 PM, on the corner of 13th and Columbia Road, NW. The sidewalk is simply littered with knives. Sorry, I couldn't fit all of them into one shot.

Update: The knives were all gone this morning, cleaned up by the neighborhood toddlers, I imagine. That sure puts my mind at ease!

We need the knives to be easily accessible so we can protect ourselves from gun-toting Senators.

It's just those crazy kids playing. Boys will be boys. From the looks of it, it looks like they were playing shank the snitch. Ah, to be young again.

OH!!!! If you live there that better explains your photo. Just remember

The rapture came just as the christian kids were fighting off the pagans in the streets of DC.

Sigh ... I miss the old neighborhood. Ever since I moved to the burbs, things haven't been the same. In my new little neighborhood (right across the dividing line from DC), they just shoot you!
