Public Service

I wasn't wild about the Sam Brownback signs held by today's protesters, although I noted with approval that the typeface appeared to be a variation of Cooper Bold, one of my old-timey faves. Surely they can do better? Surely I can do better! So here, free of charge, is a bold new sign for Brownback fans to wave around at their next rally:

If Ted Haggard is any indication of the secret lives these types lead, I'm sure we'll start hearing about "BROWNBACK Mountain."

Are his canines really that pointy or did you do that photoshop voodoo that you do on them?

Cuz if you didn't he is really one freaky scary dude. Maybe he should get them filed before the primaries.

If I had to guess, I'd say it looks like Princess Gliztenpony mirroed Brownie's face midsaggitally.

Faces aren't symmetrical at all, and when you see them made that way artifically, it's creepy as all get out.

On a socially conservative bigot like Brownback, it's just demonic. The flames were a nice touch.

Can't spell: "midsagittally" or possibly better "along the midsagittal."

I keep mistaking his name to be 'Brokeback'...it's the first thing that pops into my head everytime I see his name.

Brownback's canines really are that pointy. Samael is correct, however, that I did indeed reflect the face to make it extra-creepy.

Thanks, PSP, for saying that this was a reflection. I looked at other Brownback photos and saw his hair does have a part (sort of) and isn't completely symmetrical.

Still, this particular haircut is a little odd to me. I know this swept-back, neatly trimmed, product intensive style is popular with tele-evangelists and mob lieutenants, but the attention to detail and high maintenance aspect has always seemed a little... metrosexual, at the very least.
