OK, so... why is it that people in other countries and cultures hate us so much?

I don't know why they would possibly hate us. I mean, OMG, we're just being honest, okay? The obvious thought and reflection that went in to his biting commentary proves that his message comes from a place of compassion and that he's not just another sweaty, mouthbreathing bigot.
You know, because of Brother Truett's brave stand, I'm sure Mr. Ali will do some real soul searching and convert to Christianity.

Perhaps its our Fuckwit-in-Chief's current attempt to shove his brand of democracy down the throats of every country in the Middle East...all the time removing democracy one amendment at a time here..
The really really reason they hate us is because we have a Condi and they don't. Well, that and a few zillion other things.
What a guy! Fighting them here with a lawn chair and a sign so he doesn't have to fight them over there with poor protection while trying to avoid IED's.
Time to turn on the sprinklers, Ali.
What I love, is that he set it up in the shade because his white Anglo skin can't take the sunshine.
I'd be out there with the hose and some bratty kids in a heartbeat. I would of course be the neighbour trespassing on Mr. Ali's yard, but it's a public service, just like Mr Truett. By the way "Truett" sounds very foreign to me, someone check his immigration records.
Actually, I was not in his yard. I was on a little island in the middle of the cul-de-sac. It was a street-width away from his yard. Ali moved one of his campaign signs from his yard to where I was sitting and quickly took a picture. I left right after that.
Two words is somewhat terse for a meaningful message. How about three words: "Islam considered harmful".
