OMG, breaking! Andy Card has quit as Bush's Chief of Staff, and Josh Bolten will be stepping in. What a good moment to look back on Mr. Bolten's last Sparkle Pony appearance:

Considering Bush 43 refuses to seek his father's counsel on anything, I'm still amazed that Bush 43 continues to recycle his father's former employees. I guess Dubya's friends couldn't pass a rudimentary background check... or a drug test. I don't know much about Bolten but I already know I don't like him. Bush's people are like scorpions- you needn't have gotten stung by any of them personally to know they are poisonous vermin.
Isn't Daddy's buddy list about to run out? I mean, next thing you know he is going to have to start appointing family members... Barbara (mommy)...Secretary of clean tighty whiteys... karen zd, I appreciate the comparison to the poisonous capacity of scorpions, but it demeans scorpions. I'd rather observe them in their habitats than have to deal with the reality of Bush and his ilk. They've destroyed more lives and landscapes than all the scorpions that have ever existed.
A scorpion crawled up the leg of my Levis once and stung the hell out of my knee. I've held a resentment ever since. Maybe I should have resourced the Harry Potter literature and called Bush and his ilk Dementors instead.
