How to Succeed in the Blogosphere

Step One: Beg for money.
Step Two: Go on a fabulous trip to Amsterdam to attend a superimportant gathering of other fortunate bloggers.

Heck, I wouldn't mind going to Amsterdam, but I wouldn't go there to discuss blogging. Why do you have to travel for that?

Perhaps they have writers block and needed a change of scenery?

Dear Princess: I want to go to Amsterdam too. They have lots of public "arts" money there so maybe you and I should put together a literal "dog and pony" show about the Beauty of Blogging and maybe the Dutch government will pay our way.

A bitch can dream, can't she?

It's true, his fundraising appeals have been on the tacky side for a loooong time. Glad I'm not the only one who notices these things...

I noticed it a long time ago, when one of his fund-raising pleas was immediately followed by a post about the hard time he was having hooking up his TIVO. I remember thinking, "Heck, I can't afford TIVO, I'm not giving this guy any money."

I'd like to go to Amsterdam too, but the AMERICAblog boys don't seem to like women much, unless they are famous fag hags like Margaret Cho or Wonkette.

Why wasn't this option available when I was young?

HAhahahahahahahahahaha

I sure am jealous.
In fact, I am changing the name of my blog to, "Will blog for TIVO."

To state emphatically: no, I am not even the least bit jealous of John Aravosis. I mean, can you imagine having to wipe spittle off your monitor that often?

is spittle similar to spit? just more of it perhaps?
