Condoleezza Hairdo Alert System™ Status Change

I love this new feature, if I don't say so myself. Observe that the status of the Condoleezza Hairdo Alert System™ in the right-hand margin has been elevated from "Guarded" to "Elevated". Why?

Well, as you all know, King Fahd of Saudi Arabia died, and his faithful servant, George Bush, will be sending a delegation for the funeral observances. Who will he send? If not himself, I'm betting that Cheney will lead the pack. There's an outside chance, though, that Condi will go, since she's Secretary of State and all. I'd be surprised, however, if Bush chose to "insult" our oh-so-progressive "allies" by sending a female.

But still... there's that chance Condi will attend the festivities, and if she does, head coverings will certainly be involved. And it's that very promise of head coverings which results in the Hairdo Alert™ status change. If it turns out Condi isn't invited, the status will be changed back to "Guarded". The system works!

UPDATE: Just as I predicted, Cheney is leading the delegation, and Condi's staying home. The Hairdo Alert™ status has been lowered back to "Guarded".
