OK, so in the last day-and-one-half (Damn! Again with the hyphens!), John Aravosis' Americablog (link to the right) has had 36 posts about the Karl Rove thingy. 36! And I have no doubt whatsoever that he'll reach 45 by midnight. Don't get me wrong, I like Mr. Aravosis, but he's presented no new information whatsoever; he's simply posting rants and links to each new article as it bubbles up from the swamp. He's also selling all these t-shirts and... I mean, it's all faintly ludicrous at this point.
I'm just saying...
Also, this just in from National Geographic, the DesMoines Register and Inside Bay Area: The baby panda cub at the national zoo is about the size and weight of a stick of butter.

Oh you're in trouble now, missy. I once commented that I found AmericaBlog unreadable (pretty much for the reasons you mention - it's basically stream of consciousness mental vomit) and had all kinds of people screeching at me for being a self-loathing Republican scumbag. They're gonna spike your glitter with battery acid, doll.
Be nice, Princess Sparkle Pony. I like John's blog enormously, and he has actually done some serious reporting over the last year rather than just ranting. You just need to know how to scan his site, Evelyn Woods style.
And you've done your share of interesting reporting, too. Speaking of which, when are the Princess Sparkle Pony T-shirts going to be created? I can hardly live without mine.
I know, I know... I do like Americablog! I do! It's one of the few blogs I look at more than once a day! But he's really overboard on the Rove stuff, and so are several other blogs, including Atrios, Kos, etc., etc. Sure, everybody wants Rove roasted, but please! Show some dignity!
And, yes... I've been really lazy about the Cafe Press stuff. I will tend to it this weekend for sure. I've got two very nice designs lined up.
Oh... and he REALLY has to stop using MS Comics Sans on his t-shirts. That's just wrong.
I would like an official Princess Sparkle Pony doll to sit on my computer.
DOH! See how effective is media distraction?
What I was also thinking is: all the focus on Rove-Gate essentially obfuscates any more impactful consideration of the Downing Street Memos, Conyers' Hearing on same, and the possibility of Congressional inquiry of Impeachable offences. (Plus everything else of significance that has happened in between.)
