The best thing about watching something like the Pope's funeral on network TV is that, sooner or later, they have to break for a commercial. So how did WUSA, the CBS affiliate in DC, handle this awkward neccessity at 7AM this morning?
Well, think about it... it would be tacky to jump right into the normally-scheduled Bathfitter (fellow Washingtonians, you know what I mean), toilet paper, Geico and deodorant spots, wouldn't it?
WUSA's solution: a Jetblue-sponsored PSA and two innocuous movie ads, for Miss Congeniality 2 (Armed and Fabulous!) and A Lot Like Love. That's right! Ashton Kucher to the rescue!
