Keep smilin', Mel, while you can! The really outlandish, lurid story, of course, is the infamous 'Terri Shiavo Talking Points Memo', which came out of Senator Martinez' (R-FL) office.
The real real story, though, is Martinez handing such bombshells, unread, to prominent Democrats like Tom Harkins. Oopsie! You can bet your life that behind the scenes, all of Mel's Republican "pals" are lining up for their turn to kick him in the ass.
And once again, Mel resorts to his favorite tactic, the Bart Simpson Defense: "I didn't do it. Nobody saw me. You can't prove anything!"
