Art Collection: Pensive Big-Eyed Children By "Lee"

Two panels, color offset lithography mounted on particle board, each panel 7.5"x14"

Looks like the late 1960s to me.

What's wrong with them? These children are not happy.

Ah, the days when "time out" was called "go sit in the corner till I tell you to come out".

I don't know about the aesthetic tho... these ones are much more illustrate-y and less schlocky than those thus far. Darling little whippersnappers nonetheless.

These pictures cry out with "baby's done a bad, bad thing."

Those really creep me out.

They weren't allowed to watch Family Affair that night, and they really, really like Sebastian Cabot.

They always look like that while they wait for mommie's martini to kick her valium in. I mean this is the 60's, better living through chemistry!

I used to have the print of the girl in the 80s and 90s. I always thought she was me. I even had a similar purple dress.
