The doofus is indeed getting doofier.

I love the panels, Peteykins, and the blank one in the third position is a perfect pause.

I wish there was a fifth with Mr. Cohen sporting the black eye. Probably that's just me.

I wonder about that "line" Cohen writes about. Did he utter the phrase "I love you, Mrs. Jennings" or was it something more familiar? And what sort of handshake did he give Peter Jennings? A firm, manly one that conveyed integrity?

In four panels, and with three verbatim quotes, you've successfully revealed the inner monologue of one so terrified by otherness he seeks to raise himself above all else in the cosmos, just so he'll never be scared again.

Who knew Richard Cohen could be fodder for such a classic trope?

(Answer: probably most people who read Richard Cohen)

PSP,
"Fess" up. Who is your favorite? Richard Cohen, Doctor Ferragamo or Ursula?
I'm guessing Ursula.

I'd have to say that Ursula is my favorite, as in "who do I genuinely like the most." In the "who is my favorite person to write about" category, however, obviously Condi takes the prize.

Oh no! Society is becoming more egalitarian! Oh no, mutual respect and love for our fellow humans... even the ones we don't know! How horrible.

Good grief. We don't "all" sign love to every note. Or "all" do much of anything.

If Richard is a phony, he has only himself to blame.

On to other, more important things, like his hairdo...
