Ugly Tour Bus Photoblogging: Pink & Green, Cooper Black

I was drawn to the bus above not so much because it was particularly ugly or beautiful, but because of its use of Cooper Black, one of my favorite typefaces.

Cooper Black speaks with such bold, cheerful self-assurance. It is so late 1960s America. Do not try printing "Fukushima" in Cooper Black.

Pink and green is such a strange coupling to me. It kinda smacks of forced jolility. Or Easter baskets. Which might be the same thing?
Did you design the first bus? ;)
I am always amazed at folks who can "name that font". I can only recognize Courier.
