8 track #1 made me think of Lowell George's Willin', which is, of course, far too cool a song for that collection. 8 track #2 I was about to object to, but looking at those song titles -- yup, it's not a "one of these things" situation, it totally fits!8 track #3 may ACTUALLY be too cool for this set8 track #4 needs no comment from me other than ROFLMAO
Admit it. You bought the K-TEL album just because of the cover art.
We had the K-Tel DiscoRocket one. We didn't have it on 8-track though. My family never owned an 8-track until they were pretty much "over."The King Crimson one made me the happiest though :)
Ah, the K-Tel...
The K-tel tape is really good! It's a continuous disco mix of great songs.
Do you still have the means to play those?
Oh, yes! I have three portables (a Sony, a Panasonic and a GE), and a Marantz deck.
I have "Lizard" on vinyl, and I actually still listen to it. The other stuff is not My Cup Of Tea.
My boyfriend used to make me lister to King Crimson all the time. On his 8-track in his Barracuda.
Boy, oh boy, how many times did I have to listen to that King Crimson tape (along with the Cars' Candy-O) on my brother's 8-track in his yacht-length burnt-orange Caprice Classic?
