Her latest ad is funny because she's bashing Barbara Boxer for being concerned about climate issues. "Terrorism kills," she sniffs, "and Barbara Boxer wants to talk about the weather." The nerve!
I love this rhetorical approach, though, and I'd like to help Ms. Fiorina with some more examples of its use:
- When Boxer talks about immigration reform: "Terrorism kills, and Barbara Boxer wants to talk about her housekeeper."
- When Boxer talks about marriage equality: "Terrorism kills, and Barbara Boxer wants to talk about her hairdresser."
- When Boxer talks about Wall Street reform: "Terrorism kills, and Barbara Boxer wants to talk about her granddaughter's lemonade stand."
- When Boxer talks about the Gulf of Mexico disaster: "Terrorism kills, and Barbara Boxer wants to talk about pelicans."
- When Boxer talks about health care: "Terrorism kills, and Barbara Boxer wants to talk about plastic surgery."
- When Boxer talks about terrorism: "Terrorism kills, and Barbara Boxer wants to talk about tourism."
OMG, this is so totally fun! Your turn.

I just saw this commercial for the first time around fifteen minutes ago and was stunned. Can't a person be concerned about more than one issue at a time? Shouldn't a Senator have the mental capacity to be concerned about more than one issue at a time?
