I don't know why this simple equation didn't occur to me earlier, but it seems to me that Arizona's banning of Latino Studies programs (because it fosters resentment of white people) is like banning teaching African American kids about slavery (for the same reason).

No sense in riling those people up.
That food they eat keeps'em plenty riled enough.
