I used to subscribe to Spy magazine, and I saved all my issues. One, from April, 1990, features a long cover story about novelist Jay McInerney's relationship with Lisa "Rielle" Hunter, the woman who went on to assist John Edwards in destroying his political career. I haven't read it in a long time, but I remember the article portrayed McInerney as a cad and Hunter as a nightmarish psycho. I keep expecting this article to show up on the web, but it keeps not happening, so if anybody is interested, I'd be happy to scan it after our Tiger Beat epic is finished.
Yes? Shrug? No?
UPDATE: People are interested, so I'll scan and post the article on Monday.
UPDATE: D'oh! The article isn't about her.

Yes, I'd like to read it. Thanks.
Oh yes! Wow, I was devoted to Spy back in those days and this post evokes a hazy memory of that piece.
Please scan!
Plus, just think of the exciting new readers you can get once Google indexes the post!
I'd read that.
Whoah, OK. I'll finish the Tiger Beat this weekend and aim for Monday for the Spy article.
Woo hoo! i regret throwing out my issues of Spy more than i regret voting for Edwards in the 2008 primary.
Well, I already know Reille Hunter is nuts, but I say go for it.
Hell yes. Bring it.
Yes, please. :) Looking forward!
As for me, shrug. But I think it will get you "hits galore" esp. since Edwards is a hot topic again
John Edwards: Not a SPY reader, apparently.
