Today's Lousy Healthcare Coverage Brought to You by Siemens and Novartis, Out of the Kindness of Their Hearts

I was reading the article, and it was depressing because the majority of the words were about the conflict, the "debate," rather than the actual issue. And then I noticed that this lackluster reporting was brought to me by two healthcare megaconglomerates. And that totally made sense.

As if what is occurring around the country, from the lies about "death panels" to the fearmongering from the radical reich, could be called a "debate." There is no such thing as true debate about any sociopolitical issues in this country anymore.

Going there and reading it I realize those ads are floating ads. So, they are (the Hill) ads paid to the hill. I have seen many ads I disgree with on blogs I generally agree with.

Is the issue really with the Hill advertisers, I think yes.

The line between advertising and content is not clear anywhere. Including this blog although the 'ads' one finde here can be VERY entertaining. Revisionist history in action.
