Oh great & wonderful PSP, please settle an issue for me: Is it appropriate to wear a grey t-shirt or polo with khaki shorts or pants? I personally find the combination more unsightly than pleated khakis with a baby blue oxford, but I need an authoritative opinion. Your obedient survant, Og.

I know what that is! Abraham Lincoln's crotch!!!

Prize please!

Haw, HRH.

Gray and beige? I guess it can be done, but only with really nice pieces, and that pretty much disqualifies khaki shorts and gray polo shirts.

So I guess my answer would be NO. It sounds like a ghastly thing to wear.

Okay, okay. Your point is made.

But it could all be saved with a navy blue blazer! With gold buttons on the sleeve!

PSP, please note the khaki dockers and light blue button down shirt look also is de rigeur for corporate lesbians on casual Fridays.
Simply add a cell phone holster.

It could have been worse, and been worn with a yellow shirt.

As much as I love our new Pres, he completely wore out the oxford blue shirt rolled up at the sleeves look..maybe now that he's ya know the BMOC, he'll be allowed to wear more colors then blue and white.

Overall tho, many guys would think they were completely styling.. at least the belt and shoes match.

I have always assumed that all guys are hairdressers until they prove otherwise.

Juliana, I disagree completely. 100% cotton Oxford BD blue, or yellow even, go well with almost any ensemble. (It's those combo polyester imports that need to be avoided.) They last for eva! I still have a few left from my Wall Street pre-subprime jurasic era. And, dammit, they're just comfortable at home, or pallin' with whomever. I know men who were buried, and, therefor, met their Maker in them.

In these tight economic times I, and obviously, your President, feel that it's important to stay with what works: The tried. The true. The blue.

Dockers, however, are another issue.

This might provide you with infinite possibilities without sacrificing value or tradition.

Oh dear... I am always out of my league in these discussions of basse couture.

But a flowered bonnet goes great with everything.

"at least the belt and shoes match"

As a slob, that's the best I ever hope for. It's the main reason I turn the light on when I dress.

Dude, this is _random_! I went out today in a leather miniskirt and high-heeled boots, and everybody was _sure_ I was a hairdresser.

Pleats blow.

That's why I stopped going to Blockbuster.

We banned this look at our club night in the mid 90s, along with women in little black dresses. It saved us from having to hear after-cocktail bellowing and shrieking. We were also spared those homosexual panic induced hetero makeout sessions.

A real hairdresser would go with the flat-fronts.

I seem to remember seeing a picture of Charlie Crist wearing a polo shirt with his.

I think Charlie Crist is inexplicably hilarious, though, so I may be the only one who noticed.
