Grover Norquist: Silly Bear

Ha ha, so Politico has that funny "Arena" thing where all the totally biased "experts" get to give their talking points on the topic of the day. Today's question is "What single issue apart from the economy is most in need of attention in the final days of the campaign?" The results, for the most part, are predictable: health care, immigration, health care, Iraq, health care, etc. But then along comes goofy Grover, playing the only card left in the GOP deck:

Voter fraud and it does tie into the economy.

How many of the imaginary “people” signed up to vote by ACORN will be getting $500 checks from Obama as his “tax cut”.

Now voter fraud really does cost all of us

Grover! Even if the evil terrorists at ACORN "registered" Sir Bangsalot, it doesn't mean Sir Bangsalot is going to show up to vote! And besides, how is he going to cash that check? Plus: what checks? Who's talking about sending out checks? And if checks get sent out, I don't think the federal government is going to use state voter lists as their address book.

Please. What happened to Grover? Didn't he used to be slicker than this? Like a LOT slicker?

Grover is, after all, a Bear of Very Little Brain.

Ooooh, did he say that the "very fabric of our democracy is at stake?"

Because ACORN is, like, very very scary. Very scary. Really, it is.

A bear stuffed with straw.

Rank, damp, moldy, stinky old straw.

Hold on there- yesterday a guy calling himself Sir Bangsalot came to my door asking for money for Obama's get out the vote crusade.
You mean he's a fraud? He had a buddy with him, Joe the Plumber, who vouched for him...No way he was a fraud- he was white and he spoke real good.
